Your local village store and "One STOP shop"
Serving the community for over 20 years and seeing many changes, the village store on Selby Road has a lot to offer. Owners Ian and Jean have improved on the services offered by their business to Whitley and now incorporate the Post Office, Newsagents, a Cash Machine and Lottery Tickets. The shop offers a large grocerie area selling everything from Tissues to Tinned meat. They have freshly baked bread and cakes delivered daily together with Milk, Dairy Products and Frozen Foods.

Part of the business of any village shop is the Newsagency side. Ian and Jean provide a range of daily newspapers and magazines, if they don't have the magazine you require you can order it!

They have paperboys who deliver to the local community and are always happy to help their customers.

Eggborough Stores also have lottery tickets available where you can purchase that important, winning, ticket. Ian is always happy to help you to select those important numbers.

Groceries and last minute essentials such as Milk and Eggs are always available without having to trek into local towns to the large Supermakets.

The shop carry an extensive range of Biscuits, Tinned Meats, Vegetables, Tinned Fruit and Cakes.

Their large freezers hold a variety of quick meals, Pizzas, Fish Fingers etc. to help you cater for those unexpected visitors.

The store carries a range of soft drinks from Cola to Cordial. The large Off-License counter offers yet another addition to the variety of stock carried in store.

Ian also caters for seasonal sweet items such as Easter Eggs, Boxes of chocolates for that special occasion and at Christmas time keeps a large variety of Selection Boxes and Christmas Stockings full of sweets.
